National Single Parents Resource Center The National Single Parents Resource Center, a non-profit organization, developed this scholarship to assist single parents facing an emergency situation. Eviction notice on their home, repossession notice for the car, no food, and other situations as determined by an Advisory Board. The
organization received the National Phoenix Award for developing an
"outstanding model program and resources for families" in 1998 by
the Parenting Coalition International. This coveted award was given
to Dr. T.Berry Brazelton, Pediatrician and Author; Delores Jordan,
Michael Jordan's mother; and former U.S. Senator, Dale Bumper. |
